The Jury Commission of the 17th Judicial District oversees the selection of citizens to serve jury duty.
Jury members are randomly selected from the following lists:
- Tax rolls
- Voter Registration Rolls
- Drivers over the age of 18
- Volunteers
- Phone Directory
The Pennsylvania Legislature has set compensation for jury duty and jurors will receive the following:
- $9 per day for the first 3 days of service
- $25 per day starting the fourth day of service
