Authorities, boards and advisory panels serve Union County government including the Commissioners, several departments, as well as our communities. The designated positions are by appointment. Appointee selection process involves evaluating specific categories, eligibility and any beneficial experience offered by applicants, as vacancies become available.
Individuals serving on an Authority and not committees or boards are subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania State Ethics Act that require members to file Statements of Financial Interest.
