The UCCYS Advisory Board is made up of community volunteers (voting members), the UCCYS Administrator, one UCCYS employee, and one Union County Commissioner. One of the Board’s primary function is to fund special programs that provide support to the families on UCCYS’s caseload by providing children Christmas gifts (Choose-A-Child Program), back-to-school supplies (Project Apple), and other Board-approved expenses, such as food baskets, summer pool passes, and needed household and safety supplies. All funds received by the Board go into the Union County Community. All monies go directly to the families as there are no administrative costs. The only source of money to the Board is through donations and grants.
The children and youth advisory board has 8 seats | 3 year terms.
