Union County Housing Authority

With a five-member, voluntary board of directors, an annual budget of over two million dollars, and 10 full-time and 6 part-time staff, the UCHA has been recognized on the national and state levels for its innovative programs for Codes and Sewage Enforcement and development of a county-wide Community Services Center housed in a previously underutilized industrial building. Using various funding sources, the UCHA has also facilitated the renovation of over 1,100 homes in the county; avoiding blight and maintaining ownership.
