Data Collection Begins in Gregg Twp – Union County Reassessment Update
Union County, PA
– Union County is embarking on an important initiative to ensure fair and
equitable property assessments for tax purposes. For the first time since 2006, the County will
conduct a comprehensive property reassessment, in partnership with Tyler Technologies, to
update property values and reflect current market conditions. This reassessment is designed to
ensure that property taxes are distributed fairly across all residents.

To help property owners understand the reassessment process, Union County will hold a series
of public meetings. The first public meeting will take place on November 3, 2025, at the Milton
Area Highschool auditorium, located at 700 Mahoning Street, Milton, PA, from 6:00 PM to 8:00
PM. The second public meeting will take place on December 3, 2025, at Union County
Government Center from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. These meetings will provide an opportunity for
residents to learn more about the reassessment, ask questions, and gain a deeper
understanding of the process.

“We are excited to begin this critical project that will help ensure fair and accurate property
assessments,” said Ryan Zuck, of Tyler Technologies. “This reassessment will ensure more
equitable tax distribution and reflect the current real estate market. We encourage all property
owners to attend the public meeting and stay informed throughout the process.”
What Property Owners Can Expect:

  • Data Collection: Tyler Technologies’ data collectors will begin to visit Union County
properties to gather necessary details for accurate assessments.
  • They will not enter homes, and property owners will not need to do anything for the initial
    data gathering.
  • Data Collectors can be identified by their bright yellow vests, County issued photo ID
badges, and also by visiting the project website to view a photo of the person who is
    gathering data at your property.
